about.

I have been drawing for about as long as I can remember. It has been only in the last few years that I really started digging into digital art, and in that, I have found my calling.

Thanks to those that have inspired me, I have learned new methods and techniques to my own drawing style and without them, I would not be where I am today.

My art mostly consists of snapshots I have edited from Second Life by drawing over the photo or manipulating the image, though I have sketched my own work as well and often do so in my free time.

I range from human to supernatural to dark and all the in-between. I go where the inspiration leads me. There are no bounds or limits in which I will not test the very line that divides them.

I currently live outside D.C., but that is not where I was born and raised...

I grew up in Arkansas, a small town near the ozarks.

I first started sketching in my own book with nothing but a pencil and college ruled paper when I was still in elementary school. Nothing fancy--just art.

I started paying more attention to what kind of art I liked and kept practicing as the years went on. After the purchase of my first Wacom Bamboo tablet, I was officially introduced into the world of digital art. I have spent a great deal of time asking questions and watching tutorials to learn what I have. While I cannot say I am completely self-taught, I am by no means formally taught.

I work purely off of instinct and emotion. Life's crazy up and downs are what drive me and inspire me and every piece I have ever done was completed with the help of some kind of heartbreaking experience or moment of extreme happiness. I hope to evoke an emotion when others look at my work. I want every piece to be painted, and up to interpretation, by the viewer's personal beliefs and life experiences.

I want the viewer to feel with me, what I feel every time I look back on a photo and remember what emotion drove me to make that piece of art.

While I do not expect this to be an easy feat, I certainly hope to inspire others in their own artwork and hopes and dreams as so many have done for me.

about.

terms of service.

Last update: 7th January 2019

By ordering a commission from me, you agree to these terms:

i. general.

  • I reserve the right to decline your commission order without any reason or explanation.

  • I have the right to alter my terms of service at any time. New rules will not apply retroactively and will not influence orders started on older terms.

  • Any ill behavior will not be tolerated and commissions will be canceled accordingly.

ii. reservation & ordering.

  • Prices are tailored to fit an individual commission depending on wishes, complexity, and design.

  • Commission quotes can be requested at any time. However, quotes are only viable for up to 2 months.

  • I do not accept reservations.

  • Commissions are accepted on a case by case basis. Your commission description should contain a visual reference(s) and a brief description.

    • Any references should be concise, up to date, and written in the English language.

      • Commission orders will be terminated if the client is unable to speak English in an understandable form.

  • Any changes outside of the initial project and quote must be discussed and additionally approved. Changes may be individually charged depending on their complexity.

  • If an order involves multiple people, all communication with me should be handled by a single representative elected privately by the group.

    • I will not be involved in any quarrels among the group members nor responsible for the resulting situations.

    • All updates on the commission will be passed to the selected representative and must be distributed among group members by that person.

    • In situations where a payment is made by a person other than the ordering client- all updates and communication will be handled with the representative or person the quote was given to.

  •

  • The opening usually attracts more people and commission ideas than I am capable of fulfilling during a single month. Please be prepared for the possibility of waiting for another opening to get your commission. I do my best to suit everyone, but I sadly cannot accept everything at once.

iii. payment.

  • All payments must be made via Paypal.

  • Payments without a prior invoice will not be accepted.

    • Please include your PayPal address so an invoice can be prepared and sent.

  • All payments should be fulfilled upfront with the exception of payment plans.

  • Individual payment plans are available for commissions at or above $50.

    • Once 50% of the total price is met, I will begin the commission and will send a work in progress.

    • Once 100% of the total price is met, I will finish the commission.

iv. canceling or refunds.

  • I have the right to cancel and refund payments for your commission at any time.

  • Refunds can be requested at any time. However, full refunds are only issued only before the start of the commission.

  • Any commission being canceled during the creation process will be refunded based on the progress already made.

v. creation process.

  • Commission lists do not reflect work order. For creative purposes, I alternate between my pieces.

  • Each commission type will receive a work-in-progress for approval and right to revision. Further work-in-progress updates may or may not be shared depending on my workflow.

  • Commissions are taken and done on a month to month basis. Usual turnaround is 1-2 months but can extend farther than that in some instances. I will always notify you if that may be the case.

  • Additional services like live-streams, time-lapse videos and similar are currently unavailable by request. However, all time-lapse videos will be uploaded to my YouTube channel--which may or may not include your commission--for viewing.

    • Time-lapse videos are also available for viewing in the art section of this website.

vi. revisions.

  • Revisions depend on commission type. Revision right applies to any kind of art above $50, with one possible revision request.

  • Final edits and adjustments are always welcome but are not included in the initial quote.

  • Any additional work outside of the initial project and quote will be charged accordingly.

vii. deadlines.

  • Deadlines, if desired, have to be communicated and agreed upon before the initial quote. Deadlines affect the price and can be refused by me.

viii. image rights.

  • As the artist, I retain all rights to my created artwork. I reserve the right to re-post, use, and sell created art in digital or physical forms. Profits will not be shared.

  • Clients may re-post watermarked art as long as credit is given to me and no profit is being made.

  • I do not claim any rights to characters and other intellectual properties used in the process of creation.

  • Every client has the option to buy full rights to their commissioned artwork.

    • Purchase of commercial rights to the artwork will always be 300% of the original price.

    • With commercial rights, you are allowed to use the artwork in merchandise or profit of any kind such as; using the artwork in books, covers, as props, or changing the piece to your liking and/or to promote your own brand with. HOWEVER: Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.

If any client commits copyright infringement in any way, all rights the client had to the drawing will be retracted.
